Saturday 13th August 2011 - Soooooo we were setting up for the engagement/naming day party in the morning and I thought this party is going to be so awesome... imagine if we could just have our wedding and be done with it. The more I thought about it the more obsessed I became... I mentioned it to Fraser and he froze like a deer in the spotlight. He thought I was testing him... We agreed at 11am and the party was due to start at 3pm. Seriously. We called a celebrant, wrote our vows, Fraser finished cooking the feast while I ran into town to buy a dress, flowers, Moet Chandon and new underwear... It was insane!!!!!
The Bali wedding plans were coming along nicely... but was shaping up to be a rather expensive party... for us and for everyone who we had asked to travel all the way overseas... The LAST thing we wanted was financial stress for us or anyone.
People who were not there - we missed you all incredibly... Please know that we loved our wedding but that it would have been all the more sweet to have you there.
People who were there - HOW COOL WAS IT?
We are still going to Bali in April next year- in fact have already booked our flights- So if any of you still care to join us let us know and we can talk about it. No pressure!
Alternatively our bridesmaids & groomsmen are organising a hens/bucks party locally soon-ish we will keep you all posted with details.
